We are writing to advertise:
1. A* full professor, endowed chair position (*Mary Ann Pitts Jefferson Scholars Foundation Distinguished Professorship in Mathematics) at the University of Virginia: https://www.mathjobs.org/jobs/list/2517 It comes with a sabbatical leave after every six semesters of teaching, and this person will have access to annual research funds. It seems that other aspects of the professions are negotiable, as it is always in this situation. 2. Several * postdoctoral positions *at UVA with priority in Analytic Number Theory, Geometric Group Theory, Geometric Topology and Geometry. (Mathjobs ad coming soon and no citizen requirement.) 3. A *semester *on "Analytic group theory" and "Surface group representations" at the new Lodha Mathematical Sciences Institute in Mumbai, India (July to December 2026).
