The geometry and topology group at the University of Virginia is hiring two NSF RTG research associates. The appointments are one year long, renewable for a total of three years. The application deadline is November 15, 2020. Preference will be
given to candidates within three years of completing their PhD. The search targets fields which complement the research interests of the
geometry and topology group at UVa, which includes geometric topology, algebraic topology, and geometric group theory. Applicants must be US citizens, nationals, or permanent residents (per NSF rules). Research associates are expected to teach
during the academic year, and to assist in the topology Research Experience for Undergraduates during at least one summer of their employment.
