Aim of the workshop is to present the state-of-the-art on non-Kähler special metrics, which has been developing much interest and importance in the recent years, as well as to point out which open problems could be particuarly worth of further developement. The 3-days workshop consists of a 3-hours mini-course by Ben Weinkove on "The complex Monge-Ampère equation on non-Kähler manifolds", by seven 1-hour talks by distinguished international researchers, and by two 30-minutes talks by young PhD students, on Hermitian geometry of complex non-Kähler manifolds.
