This is a 30 months postdoctoral position, with excellent conditions: low teaching load, dynamic research environment, funding to participate in scientific activities, and highly competitive salary. We are looking for candidates with a demonstrated potential in low-dimensional geometry and topology and related fields.
The position starts on Sept 1st, 2014 and deadline for application is Feb 15th. We expect to open another similar position, but for 2 years renewable up to 5 years.

Your Profile Candidates should have a recent PhD (to be obtained at the beginning of the contract) and excellent research potential with research interests in low-dimensional geometry and topology or related areas in mathematics or mathematical physics. Experience in Teichmüller theory or the study of geometric structures or representations varieties is a plus. Knowledge of either French or English is required. Review of applications will begin on February 15, 2014 and will continue until the position is filled.
