Hello friends and colleagues,
I hope this finds you all near the end of an exhilirating term and looking forward to a peaceful holiday.
I am currently advertising for two 2-3year postdoctoral positions with my group at Imperial College London. This position is funded from my recent large Leverhulme grant on Knotted DNA. The start date is flexible.
The postdoc will use their experience in 3-manifold topology, and be interacting with a large interdisciplinary team of biologists and topologists. (No prior biological experience necessary, although regular discussions with our collaborating experimental lab will be expected). This is a predominantly research postdoc with minimal teaching. Travel & computer funds are also included.
Please advertise this to your colleagues and mailing lists, and if you know of any good candidates, please encourage them to apply, and/or email me (d.buck@imperial.ac.uk) with any further questions.
The deadline is 22 December 2014.
The jobs are advertised here: http://eims.ams.org/jobs/6658867/research-associate-in-mathematics here https://www.mathjobs.org/jobs/jobs/6803 and here: http://www.jobs.ac.uk/job/AKA639/research-associate-in-mathematics/
Thanks very much, and happy holidays! Dorothy
