Matematica) Composite handlebody-knots Makoto Ozawa (Komazawa (Giappone)) Abstract: A genus g handlebody-knot is a genus g handlebody embedded in the 3-sphere. We show that a handlebody-knot whose exterior is boundary-irreducible has a unique maximal unnested set of knotted handle decomposing spheres up to isotopy and annulus-moves. We also show that some genus two handlebody-knots can be determined by their exteriors. (joint work with Atsushi Ishii and Kengo Kishimoto) We characterize composite tunnel number one genus two handlebody-knots.
