Dear Colleagues and Friends,
this is the second announcement for the summer school
"Normal Families in Complex Analysis" at the University of Wuerzburg, Germany May 22-29, 2015.
The summer school aims at master students, PhD students, postdocs and anyone else interested in normal families. The main lectures will be given by
Walter Bergweiler (Kiel, Germany)
and
Aimo Hinkkanen (Urbana-Champaign, USA).
A preliminary schedule for the summer school can now be found on the web site http://www.mathematik.uni-wuerzburg.de/sommerschule2015/
IMPORTANT NOTE: The application deadline is April 1, 2015, and the registration fee will be 120 Euro. We have received funding to support the attendance of a limited number of participants. Note, however, that according to the rules of our funding agencies we can only support participants who agree to being enrolled as "program students" of our University. This is just a formality and in particular possible for master and PhD students, postdocs and research staff. The enrollment procedure will be handled by our local administration for you. Financial support covers at least local accommodation (up to 40 Euro per night) and the registration fee. If you would like to request financial support please register as soon as possible.
The registration form and further information can be found on the web site
http://www.mathematik.uni-wuerzburg.de/sommerschule2015/
The summer school will be followed immediately by the conference
"Modern Trends in Complex Analysis" Friday, May 29th and Saturday, May 30th 2015, at the University of Wuerzburg, Germany.
There will be a number of selected talks covering different aspects of complex analysis. Confirmed participants include Walter Bergweiler, Aimo Hinkkanen, Tobias Kaiser, David Minda, Shahar Nevo, Norbert Steinmetz, Karl-Joachim Wirths and others.
Please pass on this message to your students, colleagues and to anyone else who might be interested.
Many thanks and best wishes; we hope to see you in Wuerzburg in May on both occassions!
