Dear Colleagues,
This is the first announcement for an Advanced School and Workshop on Geometric Group Theory and Low-Dimensional Topology: Recent Connections and Advances to be held at ICTP Trieste, May 23d--June 6th 2016.
The Advanced School (May 23-- May 27) is aimed at graduate students and will consist of 5 lecturers giving 3 talks each. There will be afternoon breakout groups with participants working on problems.
The workshop will be held May 30 -- June 6th.
