The position is in the context of the ANR project SiSyFo. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the area of symplectic geometry, understood in a broad sense. A detailed knowledge of pseudo-holomorphic curves and/or Floer theory is a plus. Familiarity with foliation theory and/or Poisson geometry is also welcome, but not necessary. The research team to which the postdoc will belong counts several experts with interests in / related to symplectic geometry: Erwan Brugallé, Baptiste Chantraine, Vincent Colin, Marco Golla, Stephane Guillermou, François Laudenbach, Rémi Leclercq, and myself. The position also comes with funding for research related travel and activities. The suggested starting date is 1rst September 2026. A later start of the contract, by the end of 2026 at most, can also be agreed upon.
