ABSTRACT: The classical theorem about action-angle variables (which was proved by Mineur in 1935 but is often called Arnold-Liouville theorem) describes completely an integrable Hamiltonian system near a regular compact level of the momentum map. In this talk I'll describe what happens near the singular levels of the momentum maps, and what parts of the Liouville-Mineur-Arnold theorem survive there.

SEMINARIO DI SISTEMI DINAMICI (olomorfi e dintorni) Argomento: Geometria - Analisi matematica
ABSTRACT: I'll explain the following result: any analytic (real or complex) vector field which vanishes at a point and which is locally analytically integrable (a la Liouville or in a generalized sense) admits a local analytic Poincare-Birkhoff normalization. The proof does not use the fast convergence method and relies on geometric properties of integrable dynamical systems instead.
