An application of Q-curvature to the Adams-Moser-Trudinger mbedding

Abstract: We will briefly discuss the critical embedding of Trudinger, Moser and Adams of Sobolev spaces into Orlicz spaces and show a concentration-compactness result for critical points of such embedding. Quite interestingly, the proof of this result relies on the properties of conformal metrics on Euclidean space having constant Q-curvature, which we shall also discuss.
