Hitoshi NAKADA (Keio University) : Group extensions of number theoretic transformat

ABSTRACT An application of group extensions for continued fractions was first introduced by H. Jager and P. Liardet.This shows the equidistributed property of the convergents of continued fractions. I will explain this idea and then apply it to the Jacobi-Perron algorithm. As a consequence, we get the equidistributed property of the convergents by the Jacobi-Perron algorithm.
