Dear colleagues and friends,

we are pleased to announce the next seminar of the FLorence OPtimization talkS (FLOPS) series.

Paulo José da Silva e Silva (Associate Professor at Universidade Estadual de Campinas - Brazil), will give a talk entitled "Parallel Newton methods for the continuous quadratic knapsack problem: A Jacobi and Gauss-Seidel tale".

The talk will be on June 15th at 2:30 p.m. in Room 012, Centro Didattico Morgagni.
