The Department of Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods (DEMM), University of Milan, Italy launches a call for expressions of interest to identify potential candidates for a full-time, 3-year fixed-term Postdoctoral Research Associate position to work on a ground breaking programme grant funded by the Centre of Excellence in Economics and Data Science (CEEDS), awarded by the Italian Ministry of Education (MIUR).
The gross remuneration package for this position will be approximately in the range €30,000-40,000 p.y.
Applicants will be expected to have, or be close to completing, a PhD in Statistics, Probability Theory, Economics, Computer Science or related areas and must be able to actively contribute to the excellence of the departmental research and capable of publishing in top academic journals in the area of Statistical Inference and Data Science. Candidates will ideally be based in the Milan area and are expected to support the activities of DEMM, participating in the life of the Department through service.
