The University of Luxembourg currently has two open professor positions 
in the area of Data Science.

 (1) A full professor position in Mathematical Statistics and Data 
Science, within the Mathematics Research Unit, funded by for the first 5 
years by a grant from the ERA-chair program of the European Union.
This position is attractive by European standards in terms of research 
support (2 postdocs and 2 PhD positions attached and access to external 
funding). The person hired will be expected to start a new direction of 
research in Mathematical Statistics at the University of Luxembourg.

(2) A tenure-track Associate professor position in Machine Learning, 
within the Computer Science and Communication Research Unit. This is an 
Associate professor position, with evaluation after 5 years for
