The main task will be teaching in German within the area of applied mathematics (numerical analysis, computer science …).
In addition, one should participate in organization and administration of the department. Research in applied mathematics is desired.
Requirements: Ph. D in Mathematics, two or three years as a post doc. Experience of teaching and research in applied mathematics
(e.g. optimization, numerical analysis, stochastic/statistic or some related areas). Publications in international reviewed journals.
Additional Requirements:
· Knowledge and experience in a computer language (e.g. C++, Python, Java);
· Knowledge and experience in e.g. Scilab or Matlab.
· Team- and communications skills.
Task:
· Cooperation in teaching in applied mathematics
· Organization and administration training groups
· Developing and execution of e-Learning concepts
· Cooperation at exames
· Mentoring of students
· Mentoring of scientific works
