Remuneration: $66,706 - $90,532 pa Level A (plus 9.5% employer superannuation)
The Level A research-only academic will be required to make a contribution towards the University’s research effort and pursue defined projects relevant to the particular field of research in order to develop their expertise.
The successful applicant will undertake research in probability theory and/or statistical mechanics, working closely with Dr Andrea Collevecchio, A/Prof Tim Garoni and A/Prof Kais Hamza. The position will be funded by ARC Discovery Project DP180100613, and will involve studying the behaviour of specific classes of random walks with long memory.
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
