We are inviting applications for a postdoctoral position focusing on the mathematical aspects of modeling functional data, with particular emphasis on adaptive methods for estimation and inference. The successful candidate will join the ANR FUNStatMath project team at Ensai (Rennes, France). FUNStatMath is a collaborative research initiative in Functional Data Analysis (FDA), bringing together researchers in mathematical and applied statistics. This position does not involve any teaching duties. It is available from May 2026 onwards (with some flexibility regarding the starting date) for up to 24 months.
