Title: Excitements in one dimension

Abstract: Excited random walk (also called Cookie walk) is a self interacting discrete time stochastic process on graphs so that the transition probability is given not only by the location,

 but also by the number of past visits to that location. 

We shall discuss some old and new results on the one-dimensional lattice case,

 which has a special structure. Joint with Gideon Amir and Noam Berger.
