We are happy to announce the workshop "Kinetic Limit and Probability", which will take place on June 9-13, 2025, at the Mathematics Department of Sapienza University of Rome (https://sites.google.com/uniroma1.it/klp/home?authuser=0).

This workshop gathers together prominent scientists and young researchers, promoting the exchange of ideas around the relations between small and large scales, focusing on interacting particle systems and applications of such topics of recent interest. On the occasion of the workshop, we commemorate the contribution of Oscar Lanford, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the publication of his work on the validity of the Boltzmann equation.
