we are pleased to announce the opening of the call for the selection of talented Master’s students from all over the world to join the IMT Honors Program, funded by the Educating Future Citizens (EFC) project.

This Program is a novel initiative of the School designed to guide outstanding Master's students with excellent academic profiles and a strong interest in the School’s Multidisciplinary Scientific Areas (MSAs) towards research. 

 IMT faculty members will play a key role as scientific tutors, providing guidance and supervision throughout the training path. 

At the same time, current IMT PhD students will have the opportunity to act as mentors, supporting their junior peers and fostering a collaborative learning environment.

Key information:
• Duration of funded activities: September 15, 2025 – June 14, 2026
• Mode of participation: blended (in-person and online)
• Scholarships available: up to 16
• Scholarship amount: €10,000 each
• Additional benefits: travel reimbursement up to €3,000, free accommodation and meals during stays in Lucca, full exemption from tuition fees
• Program completion: July 2027
• Final recognition: the “IMT Honors” certificate will be awarded in July 2027, upon successful completion of the Master’s degree with a final grade of 110/110 cum laude.
