Applications are invited for three 2-year departmental postdoctoral positions at University College London on several topics, including probability and statistical mechanics. Candidates will carry out research on a project led by members of academic staff,
which for probability theory are:

A. Cipriani (scaling limits, random interfaces);

C. Cotar (statistical mechanics, self-interacting random walks, optimal transport);

T. Soo (entropy, coupling, point processes, factor, measure-preserving dynamics);
-
A. Watson (branching models, Lévy processes).
The positions are available immediately, and include some teaching duties. The
applicant should get in touch with one or more project leads first, providing a CV. The deadline to do so is
15 Nov 2026, but please note that applications are considered on a rolling basis so an early application is strongly encouraged.
