Job Opening: 15 doctoral fellowships in Marie
Skùodowska-Curie Innovative Training Network: Economic Policy in Complex Environments (EPOC)
EPOC is looking for 15 highly motivated doctoral fellows to engage in cutting edge interdisciplinary research combined with a structured
curriculum of training activities.
It aims at advancing the state-of-the-art and the applicability of computationally intensive methods for decision and policy analysis in economics. The focus is on challenges characterized by their dynamic and complex nature, in particular in the domains of
climate change and innovation. Doctoral fellows will gain expertise and skills in data science, network theory, agent-based simulation, and economic modelling, and will apply these skills in their individual research projects. Selected candidates will enter
a 36 months work contract with the recruiting university of their project. Doctoral fellows will spend at least one year at two EPOC partner universities and pursue a double degree. Research and training is carried out by the EPOC consortium consisting of
seven leading European universities and ten partner organisations.
