È disponibile 1 borsa finanziata sul progetto FIS 3 OTODDLE (Optimal Transport and Large Deviations for Deep Learning), sotto la mia supervisione. Il progetto di dottorato rientra nella linea applicata di OTODDLE e riguarda inizializzazione e training di reti neurali profonde, stime quantitative, algoritmi orientati all’HPC e simulazioni su larga scala, in stretta interazione con il gruppo di ricerca. Studenti e studentesse interessati/e ad aspetti computazionali, simulazione della probabilità e ottimizzazione sono invitati/e a candidarsi. Nota: oltre alla borsa su OTODDLE, il bando prevede altre borse su progetto: sarà sufficiente che il/la candidato/a indichi durante il colloquio orale a quali borse/progetti è interessato/a. There is one PhD fellowship funded by the FIS 3 project OTODDLE (Optimal Transport and Large Deviations for Deep Learning), under my supervision. The PhD project lies within the OTODDLE applied research line and will focus on initialization and training of deep neural networks, quantitative estimates, HPC-oriented algorithms, and large-scale simulations, in close interaction with the research group. Students interested in computational aspects, probability simulation, and optimization are warmly encouraged to apply. Important note. In addition to the OTODDLE-funded fellowship, the call includes other project-funded fellowships. Applicants can simply state during the oral interview which fellowships/projects they are interested in.
