Dear all, we are writing to inform you about the 3rd Verona Early Career Workshop in Economics and Mathematical Finance, which we are organizing at the Department of Economics at the University of Verona and which will take place on May 12–13, 2026, in Verona. The workshop is aimed at PhD students and early-career researchers (PhD obtained no more than 2 years ago) and seeks to foster the exchange of ideas among young scholars. This year, for the first time, the workshop explicitly opens to topics in Mathematical Finance and Statistics, alongside the traditional areas of economics. The keynote speaker will be Erich Battistin (University of Maryland). The abstract submission deadline is February 28, 2026. Participation is free, and the workshop includes coffee breaks and the social dinner.
