"Foundations of Stochastic Partial Differential Equations" (FoundSPDE)
I have two PhD positions available. It would be great if you could forward this announcement to potential candidates.
Short description: At the Delft Institute for Applied Mathematics (DIAM), part of Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), NL, two full-time PhD positions in the mathematical analysis of stochastic partial differential equations are offered. The PhD candidate will be supervised by Prof.dr.ir. M.C. Veraar (part of the Analysis Group at DIAM). The focus of both of the projects is on well-posedness, regularity, long-time behavior, large deviations and/or approximation of solutions to parabolic and hyperbolic SPDEs of semi- and quasi-linear type. A background in Probability Theory and/or Analysis is preferable.
