the Departments of Mathematics at the University of Trento and Politecnico of Milan are expressing a call of interest for two two-year postdoctoral fellow positions funded by the PRIN project titled

"Stochastic particle-based reaction-diffusion models with heterogeneous interaction for radiation therapy"

We are looking for candidates who have recently completed or are nearing completion of a Ph.D. in Mathematics, with a strong background in either stochastic particle systems or stochastic partial differential equations. The primary focus of this project is the study of stochastic multiscale systems with heterogeneous interaction and their long-term behavior.

The anticipated start date for successful candidates is in the spring of 2024.
