Emergent macroscopic phenomena in non-equilibrium statistical mechanics (May 5-9 at Gran Sasso Science Institute)

The workshop will include a special session in memory of Professor Errico Presutti on May 6, dedicated to his profound contribution to mathematical physics and to the start of the PhD school in mathematics at GSSI.

An afternoon excursion to Rocca Calascio will be held on May 7. Should weather conditions prevent the visit, the alternative destination will be the medieval churches of Bominaco. A social dinner will follow the excursion. The excursion is free for everyone. The social dinner is free for students, 40 euros/person for other participants.
