The division of Applied Mathematics at Lund University invites applications for a doctoral researcher position (fully funded for 5 years). The successful candidate will work on a research project on the interface of partial differential equations and stochastic analysis, e.g. on 1 - mathematical models in material sciences 2 - the effect of noise on pattern formation 3 - optimal transport techniques in Deep Neural Networks. The starting date is flexible, at earliest November 2021 and at latest August 2022.
