Nella primavera del 2014 è prematuramente scomparso un valente studioso di economia, Guido Cazzavillan, che è stato una figura importante in ambito economico e per l'Università Ca’ Foscari di Venezia, dove è stato direttore del Dipartimento di Economia e componente del Senato Accademico. La famiglia Cazzavillan, attraverso il Dipartimento di Economia dell'Università Ca' Foscari, ha voluto ricordare Guido bandendo una borsa di studio per poter frequentare il primo anno di un corso dottorato presso una Università di eccellenza internazionale (la borsa è rinnovabile per un anno) e una borsa di ricerca post-doc da utilizzare presso una istituzione di livello internazionale sui problemi della povertà e del sottosviluppo, temi che Guido sentiva particolarmente cari. Entrambi i bandi sono disponibili all’indirizzo: http://www.unive.it/nqcontent.cfm?a_id=193090 e si segnala che la scadenza per la borsa di dottorato è l’8 novembre 2015 mentre la scadenza per la borsa di ricerca è il 31 ottobre 2015.
