Prof. Tomaso Aste of UCL asked me to forward the following announcement:
Two Associate Professor or lecturer positions opening in the Financial Computing and Analytics group of University College London. (Senior lecturer will automatically take the title of Associate Professor form 2018) The Financial Computing and Analytics group does exciting researches on markets, societies and the economy in this digital era. Candidates should have demonstrated a capability of initiating and conducting exciting world-class research in financial computing and related areas. They should also be able to demonstrate evidence for their ability to attract funding, for example by holding a personal fellowship, and peer esteem for their work. Candidates must hold an earned Ph.D. by the time of the application. They will be evaluated chiefly on the significance and novelty of their research to date, and their promise for leading a group in a fruitful program of research. They must also demonstrate a zest for innovative and challenging teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels. A proven record of ability to manage time and evidence of ability to teach and to supervise academic work by undergraduates, masters, and doctoral students are desirable. http://www.jobs.ac.uk/job/BEO568/lecturer-senior-lecturer-in-financial- computing/ ---------------------------------------- Fabrizio Lillo Dipartimento di Matematica Università di Bologna ITALY
