A vacancy has arisen for a fully funded PhD scholarship at Royal Holloway University of London:

The scholarship will only apply to EU citizens. The ideal candidate is required to be have an interest in financial markets, be comfortable with statistical analysis/econometrics, and capable or willing to learn how to program in Matlab or Python. The natural progression from such a PhD is academia or the private sector, e.g., trading firms or data analytics.
